(Oral) Present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to respondent No.4 not to harass the petitioner by calling him time- &-again to his office in a complaint relating to sale of crops lodged by respondents No.5 to 9, without complying with the provisions of Cr.P.C. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that representation/complaint (Annexure P-2) has been moved before the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken as of now. The counsel for the petitioner(s) further submitted that he will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.3 to take action on the aforesaid representation.

Ms. Bhavna Gupta, DAG, Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4 and submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioner(s) in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
