(ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing FIR No.49 dated 20.05.2012 registered under Sections 4(1), 21(1) of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act, 1957 and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Rajinder Singh contends that instant petition has rendered infructuous in view of the fact that trial is at the fag end as only one witness remains to be examined.
