By way of present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.1 to 5 for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondent Nos.6 to 12.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case direction is issued to the official respondents to decide the representation dated 15.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) moved at the instance of petitioner by passing a speaking order expeditiously.

Prayer seems to be justified.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Chetan Sharma, D.A.G., Haryana appears on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 5 and raises no objection to the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid, but without going into the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 i.e. Superintendent of Police, Nuh-Mewat, Haryana to look into the representation dated 15.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of 08 (eight) weeks' from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
