Prayer in this petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus to get released the detenue, namely, Nishal Singh, son of the petitioner, who has been illegally detained by respondent No.3-CIA Staff, Sheron, District Tarn Taran.

On the previous date of hearing, the Warrant Officer was appointed and was directed to submit his report.

The report of the Warrant Officer has been received in a sealed cover which is opened in the Court today and the report has been perused. 4.

In the report, it is stated that the alleged detenue is involved in FIR No.0041 dated 27.03.2025 registered at Police Station CIA, Tarn Taran at 21:10 hrs. It is also mentioned in the report that the alleged detenue was not named in the said FIR but he was arrested vide G.D.No.036 dated 30.03.2025 at 23.29 hrs. Brief At this time it is recorded that ASI along with fellow employees, after investigation arrested the following accused in FIR No. 41 dated 27-03-2025 under Sections 109, 3(5) BNS 25, 27, 54, 59 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Sarhali:

(1) Arshpreet Singh alias Arsh Patcher son of Jagjit Singh resident near Jaga Baba Mange Shah,

(2) Nishan Singh Son of Gurbaj Singh resident of Lohka Road,

(3) Lovepreet Singh alias Love Nambardar son of late Gursharan Singh Nambardar resident of Naushehra Pannua Police Station Sarhali. Upon interrogation, the accused was taken to the police station.
