(ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.196 dated 04.06.2021, registered at Police Station Ambala City, under Sections 420, 120-B IPC.

Vide order dated 21.06.2021 passed by this Court, the petitioner was granted ad interim anticipatory bail and had been directed to join investigation and also to deposit an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- within a period of 01 (one) week and the remaining amount within a period of 04 (four) months. On 26.08.2021, neither learned counsel for the petitioner appeared nor the petitioner joined investigation. Even as per learned counsel for the complainant, though, an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- was deposited, yet the fact remains that the remaining amount was not deposited. On 30.11.2021, again, neither learned counsel for the petitioner appeared nor the petitioner joined investigation. AMAN JAIN 2022.01.13 17:53 I attest to the accuracy of this order

CRM-M-23570-2021 (O&M) -2Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sultan Singh, submits that the petitioner has again not joined the investigation and also has not deposited the balance amount.

Perusal of the record would show that despite availing the number of opportunities, the petitioner has not bothered to comply with the orders passed by this Court.

The petitioner cannot be allowed to avail the interim protection at the costs of violations of the conditions laid therein. Therefore, the petitioner is no longer entitled to the interim protection.
