RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition with liberty to surrender before the trial Court and move an application for regular bail. He further prays that a direction be given to the trial Court to decide his application for regular bail within a week.

The petition is disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within a period of one week from today and moves an application for regular bail, the same shall be decided by the trial Court as per law within a week from the date of filing of such application.
