**** AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (Oral) 1.
The present revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking setting aside of the impugned order dated 11.03.2026 (Annexure P-1), passed by the learned trial Court, whereby the application filed under Order VI Rule 17 read with Section 151 CPC for amendment of the plaint has been allowed. 2.
Briefly stated, the facts are that the respondent-plaintiff instituted a suit for declaration against the petitioner. The written statement to the said suit has been filed, and the learned trial Court framed six issues vide order dated 19.07.2021, whereafter the case was adjourned for the plaintiff's evidence. An application under Order VI Rule 17 read with Section 151 CPC for amendment of the plaint was thereafter filed, which has been allowed by the learned trial Court vide order dated 11.03.2026, and the case has been adjourned to 30.03.2026. -1SHUBHAM 2026.04.23 10:44 I am the author of this document
CR-3316-2026 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondent-plaintiff instituted the suit in the year 2019 and has been prolonging the proceedings by seeking repeated and unnecessary adjournments. It is, therefore, prayed by way of the present petition that the suit be directed to be decided in a time-bound manner. 4.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and have perused the paper book.
5.
Considering the limited nature of the relief sought, issuance of notice to the respondents is dispensed with, as the same would only result in further delay of the proceedings.
6.
In view of the aforesaid submissions, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present revision petition is disposed of. The learned trial Court is directed to decide the suit within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
7.
The Registry is directed to forward a copy of this order to the learned trial Court, Ambala, for compliance.
