The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to restore electricity connection. In the alternative, she is seeking direction to respondents to sanction fresh electricity connection in her name. 2.
The petitioner is resident of Village Kadipur, Gurugram. She on account of matrimonial disputes is residing in a separate premises with her minor daughter. She initiated proceedings under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 before learned JMIC, Gurugram who vide order dated 26.10.2020 granted her interim protection qua residence in the shared household which is in the name of his brother-in-law. CWP-9618-2026 -2not paid electricity dues pursuant to which the authorities have disconnected electricity. She has paid electricity dues still the connection has not been restored. She has applied for a new electricity connection in her name but to no avail.

Learned counsel for the respondent-DHBVN submits that Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum would consider petitioner's petition as petitioner's representation and pass an appropriate order within one week from today.
