Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No. 294 dated 28.10.2002, under Section 406, 420, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short), registered at Police Station Division No. 4, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar (Annexure P-1) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, including the summoning order dated 9.4.2005 (Annexure P-3) on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-4) effected between the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has surrendered before the Trial Court in pursuance to the order passed by this Court dated 10.11.2014 and has furnished interim bail.
