(Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail to the petitioner in a case registered against him vide FIR No.104 dated 15.06.2015 under Sections 364-A, 506 and 411, 120-B IPC and Section 13 of Punjab Prevention of Human Trafficking Act, 2012 (added later on) at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, Jalandhar. It is contended that the petitioner is incarcerated since December 15, 2015. Proceedings may still take some time to culminate. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complainant-Ajay Kumar, Avinash and other material witnesses have been examined. Prayer for bail has been opposed by the State counsel on the ground that the allegation against the petitioner are serious.
