The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.158, dated 09.07.2020, registered under Sections 326, 324, 323, 341, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 307 IPC added later on) at Police Station Ghuman, District Gurdaspur, and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 20.01.2020. 2.

None had appeared on behalf of the petitioners on the last date of hearing. Position remains the same even today, despite the case having been called out twice. As per the reports dated 20.05.2023 and 20.06.2023 received from the Ld. JMIC, Batala, none of the parties had appeared for getting their statements recorded. 3.

It appears that the petitioners are not interested to pursue the matter.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
