Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the learned trial Court to expedite the trial of complaint bearing No. 8563 dated 19.07.2017, under Section 138 read with Section 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, which is now fixed for hearing before the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana on 14.05.2019. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the matter is being unnecessarily delayed before the learned trial Judge and certain directions be issued to the learned trial Court to dispose of the matter in a time bound manner. Learned counsel further contended that in the connected matter i.e. CRM-M-18497-2019, this Court passed order dated 30.04.2019 for disposal of the said case within a period of six months.
