Mr. Amit Mehta, Sr. Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) The Court has been convened through video conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Counsel for the petitioners has filed the original attested affidavit as well as the requisite Court fee in compliance of the undertaking recorded on 17.07.2020. The same are taken on record. Through the instant petition, the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.37 dated 20.03.2020 under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 registered at Police Station Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Amrik Singh submits that the petitioners have joined investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation.
