Faced with the aforestated position, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage with liberty to file afresh in case there is inordinate delay in conclusion of trial.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

The Trial Court is however directed to take all necessary steps so as to ensure that the trial is concluded at the earliest keeping in view the fact that the petitioner has been behind bars for a substantial period of more than four years.
