Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Manjit Singh, contends that the trial is at the fag end as in the present case out of total 12 witnesses, 04 witnesses have been examined and 06 have given up and only 02 have remained to be examined and the trial is likely to be concluded within next three months.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.
