(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No. 65 dated 27.05.2016 (Annexure P-14) registered under Section 406/498-A IPC at Police Station Women, Ludhiana City and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. At the outset, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of, as such as, the FIR in question already stands quashed by a co-ordinate bench of this Court vide order dated 21.03.2018 passed in CRM-M1093-2018 titled as 'Charanpreet Singh and another vs. State of Punjab and another'.
