******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.128 dated 31.05.2015 registered for offence punishable under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Sadar Ferozepur, District Ferozepur.

Heard.

Learned State counsel submits that the entire evidence has been closed in this case and the case is now fixed for statement of petitioner under Section 313 Cr.P.C.

In view of submission of learned State counsel and keeping in view the fact that recovery from the petitioner is of commercial quantity of contraband, I find no reason to extend the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner.

Dismissed.
