Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.127, dated 01.08.2025, under Sections 308(2) and 351(2) of BNS (corresponding to sections 384 and 506 of IPC) [sections 338, 336(2), 340(2), 318(4) and 316(2) of BNS (corresponding to sections 467, 465, 471, 420 and 406 of IPC) added later on], registered at Police Station Sadar Patiala, District Patiala. 2.

On the very outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present petition, on account of non-filing of the challan within the prescribed time period, petitioner has already been released on default bail by the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patiala, vide order dated 18.05.2026. Copy of the order is produced by counsel for the petitioner, and the same is taken on record. 3.

In view of the above, present petition stands disposed of, as the same having been rendered infructuous.
