This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.0065 dated 18.05.2016 under Sections 498A/323 IPC registered at Police Station Adampur, Jalandhar alongwith all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of a compromise between the parties.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the cancellation report submitted in this case has been accepted by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jalandhar on 19.12.2016. Therefore, this petition has been rendered infructuous.

Disposed of accordingly.
