Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.57 dated 31.07.2017, under Sections 498A/406 IPC, Police Station Balongi, District SAS Nagar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the abovesaid FIR has been quashed by this Court on the basis of a compromise vide order of even date in CRM No.M-6130 of 2018 (Sukhdeep Singh and others v. State of Punjab and others). Therefore, this petition has been rendered infructuous. Disposed of accordingly.
