The petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against respondents for alleged violation of order dated 14.11.2019. 2.

The petitioner had earlier approached this Court by way of filing CWP30775-2019 seeking issuance of a direction to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, Panipat to take action against respondent No.5-Reena Devi (Sarpanch) for illegal encroachment of 'Johar' land and to take further action on application dated 1.10.2019.

The aforesaid writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 14.11.2019, the operative part of which reads as follow:- "In view of the above, without adverting to the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Deputy Commissioner, Panipat to consider and decide the GAURAV SOROT 2020.07.20 17:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) COCP-1333-2020 (O&M) applications dated 01.10.2019 (Annexures P-2 & P-3) in accordance with law within six weeks from the receipt of the certified copy of the judgment. In case, on consideration, the competent authority reaches to the conclusion that the request made by the petitioners is admissible, in such eventuality, the consequential relief be allowed to them, within a period of six weeks thereafter. However, in case the competent authority feels that the request made by the petitioners is not admissible, in that case, a speaking order be passed in the matter." 4.

At this stage, Mr. Pawan Longia, DAG, Haryana, to whom an advance copy of petition has already been furnished accepts notice on behalf of the respondents has informed that the encroachment made by Reena Devi- 'Sarpanch' has been removed and that proceedings have been initiated against Reena Devi-'Sarpanch' by serving a charge-sheet upon her. 6.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, this Court is of the opinion that the directions as issued vide order dated 14.11.2019 have been complied with. In these circumstances, there is no ground for initiating contempt proceedings against the Deputy Commissioner, Panipat and the petition is rendered infructuous & is disposed of as such.
