******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) None has appeared for the petitioners. Even on the earlier dates i.e. 19.12.2017, 30.07.2018 and 26.02.2019, none had appeared for the petitioners.

The petitioners have sought protection of their lives and liberty and to provide them adequate police protection. In reply, filed on behalf of State by way of affidavit of Pawan Kumar, HPS Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kalka, Panchkula, it has been stated that petitioners are not residing at the address given in the petition. The attempts were made to get their address from Municipal Councillor, who got recorded her statement (Annexure R-1) that they are not residents of village Tipra. Even the villagers of village Tipra could not disclose the present address of petitioners. Ex-Sarpanch-Balram Kumar of village Tipra has stated that the petitioners never resided in his village for the last 25 years. In view of above reply; statements of witnesses recorded by the police and fact that none has appeared on behalf of the petitioners, I find no reason to proceed with this petition.
