*** Vide order dated 31.10.2017, while issuing notice of motion, the petitioner was granted interim bail directing him to join the investigation by contacting the investigating officer within 5 days. He did not do so rather moved an application for extension of time for the reason that the investigating officer was not allowing him to join the investigation. On his application the investigating officer and SHO of Police Station, Zira were called, who put in appearance. They were issued a warning and directed to comply with the order passed by this Court. It was further observed that to avoid controversy, petitioner was to appear in the Court of S.D.J.M. Zira on 12.12.2017 at 10.00 A.M. and to remain present there during the working hours and that the investigating officer could go there and join the petitioner with investigation by moving an application before S.D.J.M. Zira in that regard so that proper record can be maintained. The petition was fixed for Parvinder Singh 2017.12.16 13:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Learned State counsel has stated that petitioner has since not joined the investigation. In support of his contention he has placed on file copy of order passed by S.D.J.M Zira dated 12.12.2017 and copy of the application moved by SHO. In that way, the directions issued by this Court has not been complied with by the petitioner. On being so, the petition stands dismissed.
