PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Mr. Dhir has produced order dated 4th of May, 2023 passed on behalf of Director General of Police, Punjab which reads as under :- "C-II Love Kumar No.568/PTK (now 2956/BTL) was transferred from district Batala to CP-Ludhiana vide this office memo No. 7101-06/E-2(4), dated 20.04.2023.

C-II Love Kumar No.568/PTK (now 2956/BTL) filed CWP No.8938 of 2023 before the Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court. In view of the representation made by him in the Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court his transfer case has been reconsidered in this office and he is hereby transferred from district Batala to GRP, Punjab (Police Station, Amritsar) on compassionate grounds. His earlier transfer order dated 20.04.2023 is hereby cancelled. He may be immediately relieved to his new place of posting under intimation to this office.
