GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J. (Oral) Letter received from Sukhjeet Kaur through e-mail was ordered to be treated as Habeas Corpus. In the letter, the petitioner alleged that her husband had been picked up by the police though he is not involved in any other case.

Today, learned State counsel upon instructions informed that petitioner's husband had been apprehended by the police on 26.03.2024 and was found in possession of 2 country-made pistols in respect of which FIR No.90 dated 26.03.2024, P.S. City Kapurthala, District Kapurthala, under Section 25 of the Arms Act has been lodged against him and that subsequently, he has been released on bail on 16.04.2024. In view of the aforestated position, no further direction is required to be issued. The instant petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
