VERSUS
U.T. CHANDIGARH ....... RESPONDENT CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY TEWARI ***
Present:
Ms.G.K.Mann, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. J.S.Toor, Standing Counsel for UT, Chandigarh. ***
1. Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2. To be referred to the Reporters or not?
3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? AJAY TEWARI, J. (Oral) This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed in case bearing FIR No.474 dated 15.08.2013, under Sections 420, 466, 468, 471 IPC and Section 25/54/59 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station Sector 17, District Chandigarh. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that on one date the petitioner could not appear because he was in custody in another case and that is why his bail bonds were forfeited. Learned Standing Counsel for UT has accepted this fact. In the circumstances, without commenting anything on the merits of the case, I do not deem it appropriate to deny the grant of anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. Let him appear before the trial Court on the date fixed and the trial Court shall release him on bail to its satisfaction.
