Versus
State of Punjab and Others
...Respondents
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMAN CHAUDHARY ***** Present :
None for the petitioner.
Mr. Satnam Preet Singh, DAG, Punjab.
***** AMAN CHAUDHARY, J. (Oral) 1.
Prayer made in the present petition for quashing the order dated 14.11.2005, vide which the selection of the petitioner to the post of Aanganwari worker was cancelled, might not, due to efflux of time, even be surviving, especially in wake of there being no interim order. 2.
Learned State counsel states that the cancellation of the appointment of the petitioner came about on account of the fact that it had not been made in terms of instructions dated 12.07.2004, Annexure R-1, wherein it has been mentioned that a divorcee candidate has to be preferred over other candidates and that a civil suit had been filed by her, which was withdrawn without liberty to reagitate the issue. To these facts, there was no counter filed.
3.
Disposed of, reserving the petitioner with a liberty to get it revived, by demonstrating that the lis still survives. (AMAN CHAUDHARY) JUDGE 19.05.2025 Hemant Whether speaking/reasoned :
