RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for quashing of FIR No.70, dated 03.05.2019, under Sections 34, 376, 379-A, 506 IPC, registered at Police Station B.P.T.P., District Faridabad, Annexure P-1, and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise deed, dated 20.04.2022, Annexure P3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner and the prosecutrix are married and hence prosecution of the petitioner would be an abuse of the process of the Court and therefore, the present FIR be quashed.
On the other hand, learned State counsel has submitted that trial is at an advanced stage as out of 22 witnesses, 07 have already been MEENU 2022.08.25 11:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
