By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has approached this Court inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 24.01.2024, Annexure P-5, passed by respondent No.2, whereby, application of the petitioner for extension of Area Validity of Arms License, has been rejected.

Counsel for the petitioner has placed on record a copy of order dated 05.09.2024, passed by respondent No.2, whereby, reasons have been given for rejecting the application.

Counsel for the petitioner seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the instant writ petition, with liberty to challenge the order in accordance with law.
