RITU BAHRI, J. (ORAL) CM-9031-CWP of 2022 Through this application, prayer has been made for preponing the date of hearing of the writ petition which is fixed for 10.10.2022. For the reasons mentioned in the application, same is allowed. Date of hearing of the writ petition is preponed and the same is taken up for final disposal today itself.

CWP-10171 of 2020 Learned State counsel, on instructions from Sh. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, SDM, Dirba, Sangrur, states that in the present case acquisition proceedings were initiated for the national highway qua which award has been passed on 16.06.2021; matter was referred to the District Courts, Sangrur, for disbursement of compensation and the amount of RAVINDER SINGH 2022.07.06 15:12 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

In the present case, petitioner was seeking direction to the respondents to give an opportunity of hearing with respect to the objections filed under Section 3C of the National Highways Act, 1956 in the office of respondent No.4 with respect to notification dated 27.04.2020 published in the Gazette of India by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, New Delhi. Since the award has been passed on 16.06.2021 and compensation has been deposited with the District Courts, Sangrur, on 09.12.2021, no case is made out to give directions to respondent No.4 to decide the objections at this stage.
