This is a petition for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise.

Notice of motion to the respondents.

On asking of the Court, notice has been accepted by Ms.H.K.Athwal, DAG., Punjab, present in the Court. Copy given. Mr.Neeraj Khanna, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.2-complainant. Complainant is also present in the Court. It is stated that the matter has been compromised. This petition is disposed of with a direction that the Investigating Officer shall record the statement of the complainant within a period of 15 days regarding the matter having been compromised. Thereafter, it will be open to the Investigating Agency to present cancellation/untraced report. In case any such report is submitted before the Illaqua Magistrate, it will be accepted by the Court on the basis of affidavit or no objection on behalf of the complainant.
