(Oral) At the outset, Mr. Vikram Anand, counsel for the complainant states that he has no instructions from the complainant, therefore, he may be allowed to withdraw his Power of Attorney on behalf of the complainant. Allowed to do so.

The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No. 74, dated 13.04.2018, under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC, registered at Police Station City Kapurthala, District Kapurthala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 10th September, 2018, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. This fact is not disputed by the counsel for the State as well. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Harparshad, states that the petitioner is no longer required for further interrogation.
