***** KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Case has been heard through video conferencing on account of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Petitioners allege that both of them are major and they got married on 21.6.2021 against the wishes of respondents No.4 and 5 who are related to petitioner No.1.

Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the aforesaid private respondents have threatened to cause harm to both the petitioners and in this regard, representation (Annexure P-5) was given on 21.6.2021 to respondent

( 2 ) CRWP-5710-2021 No.2 but till date no action has been taken by the concerned authority in this regard.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Kirpal Singh Thakur, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State of Haryana. He submitted that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In view of above, without going into merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to consider representation dated 21.6.2021 (Annexure P-5) and to provide appropriate protection to the petitioners if so warranted. However, any observations made in this order will not be construed as an expression of opinion on the validity of the marriage of the petitioners.
