Learned counsel for the petitioner without making any reference to the property dispute between the parties i.e. petitioner and private respondents, confines the relief claimed in this petition only for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents.

In view of her submission, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala to look into the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioner from legal action taken in any civil, criminal or other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law or giving direction to the police to interfere in the property dispute between the parties.
