The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.252 dated 6.12.2019 at Police Station City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib under Sections 323, 324, 506, 148, 149 and 326 of Indian Penal Code.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion, the following order was passed on 20.7.2020:
" Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is a case of crossversion wherein DDR No.47 has been recorded in respect of the injuries sustained by petitioner-Gagandeep as well as by co-accused Sonu. It has been submitted that the petitioner sustained as many as 5 injuries including one injury by a sharp edged weapon. Notice of motion for 16.11.2020.

( 2 ) CRM-M-19489-2020 (O&M) Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Arresting/Investigating Officer and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C." 3.
The learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Shivender Singh has informed that pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court, the petitioner has since joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 20.7.2020 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
