IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-38497 of 2017 Date of Decision: 30.10.2017 Nachhattar Singh alias Chhatri and another ....Petitioners

Versus

State of Punjab ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: - Mr. Deepak Aggarwal, Advocate, for the petitioners. Mr. Rana Harjasdeep Singh, AAG, Punjab.

RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of regular bail to the petitioners in a case arising from FIR No.249 dated 11.09.2017 under Section 61 of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Nathana, District Bathinda.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners were arrested on 11.09.2017, but due to typographical mistake, in the petition different dates of arrest of the petitioners have been mentioned. Coaccused Sukhwinder Singh @ Neeta has already been granted bail by this Court.

Considering over-all facts and circumstances, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed. Consequently, petitioners are ordered to be released on bail, on their furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds, to the satisfaction of Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.
