It was submitted that the learned trial Court had permitted the petitioner to join proceedings within the specified time,however, due to admission of the petitioner in a De-addiction Center, the benefit could not be availed.
Vide order dated 12.2.2016, Notice of motion was issued for today and it was directed that in the event of petitioner surrendering RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2016.02.29 15:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.
CRM-M 3940/2016 before the trial court within 10 days he shall be released on interim bail by the trial court to its satisfaction.
At the time of hearing today,learned counsel states that in terms of the order dated 12.2.2016 passed by this Court, petitioner surrendered before the trial court on 20.2.2016 and was released in interim bail.
The aforesaid factual position is not disputed by the learned State counsel.
In this view of the matter, interim bail granted by the trial Court vide order dated 20.2.2016 pursuant to the order dated 12.2.2016 passed by this Court is confirmed.
Disposed of.
