CRM No.M-38712 of 2014(O&M) [2] behalf of the petitioner and the matter was adjourned in the interest of justice for today i.e., 15.01.2015. Today also, none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

This petition has been filed for directing the official respondents to register an FIR against respondents No.4 and 5. It is averred that at the time of partition of property between petitioner and his brother, respondents No.4 and 5 were helping his brother. Petitioner asked them not to interfere in their family dispute. Due to this reason, on 30.07.2014 at about 9.00 p.m. when the petitioner and his wife were having dinner, respondents No.4 and 5 illegally trespassed into their house and gave slaps and fist blows to him and his wife. Damage was caused to his house. Police authorities even on moving applications Annexures P1 and P2, did not take any action. Keeping in view the averments made in the petition and the nature of relief sought, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Barnala to look into the matter and take appropriate action, if necessary, in accordance with law.
