1. Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at this stage his clients would be satisfied that in case a direction is issued to the State to consider their case and pass a speaking order with respect to the claims as have been delineated in demand justice notice dated 23.02.2023 (Annexure P-10).

2. Learned State counsel submits that although the matter as of now is covered by CWP-17064-2017 titled as Ajay Kumar Singla and others Vs. State of Punjab and others, but the State is taking steps to file SLP in the said case and the demand justice notice dated 23.02.2023 (Annexure P-10)would be considered accordingly.

3. In view of the aforestated submissions, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to get the demand justice notice dated 23.02.2023 (Annexure P-10) examined expeditiously in accordance with law and to pass a speaking order, preferably within a period of 4 months from today.

4. A copy of this order along with copy of demand justice notice dated 23.02.2023 (Annexure P-10) be conveyed to the respondents so as to do the needful.

5.
