Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, seeking quashing of FIR No. 139 dated 18.06.2021, under Sections 323, 324, 34 IPC (Sections 115(2), 118(1), 3(5) of BNS) (Section 307 IPC was added later on), registered at Police Station Rama Mandi, District Jalandhar, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 25.03.2026 arrived between the parties. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there were in fact total of five accused in the case; however, one of them has expired during the pendency of the proceedings. It is further submitted that one of the accused, namely Charanjeet Kaur, could not be impleaded as a petitioner in the present petition. Since there is no compromise with Charanjeet Kaur at present, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition as and when a compromise is arrived at between all the parties to the dispute.
