(Oral) The applicant/wife has filed the present application for seeking transfer of the petition under Section 25 of the Guardian and Wards Act i.e. GW-1-2024 titled "Manpreet Singh v/s Amanpreet Kaur", filed by the respondent/husband, which is pending in the courts at Malerkotla and she seeks transfer of the same to the court of competent jurisdiction at Nabha, District Patiala.

In pursuance of notice issued, the repondent has made appearance through counsel and submits that he does not intend to file reply to the present application and has no objection if the Guardianship petition is transferred from Malerkotla to the Family Court, Nabha, District Patiala. Counsel for the parties heard.

TA-520-2024 the school at Nabha. Besides the same, there is one maintenance petition pending in the courts at Nabha, filed at the instance of the applicant, copy whereof is Annexure P-5.

In view of the submissions made aforesaid and more particularly, considering the statement made by the counsel for the respondent, the present transfer application is allowed and the petition under Section 25 of the Guardian and Wards Act i.e. GW-1-2024 titled "Manpreet Singh v/s Amanpreet Kaur", filed by the respondent/husband, stands transferred from the Family Court, Malerkotla, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Nabha, District Patiala. The requisite record of the aforesaid case be sent by the Family Court Malerkotla to the District and Sessions Judge, Patiala.

Learned District and Sessions Judge, Patiala, shall assign the said petition to the Family Court, Nabha. Even, the parties are directed to appear before the Family Court, Nabha, within a period of one month from today onwards.
