SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Additional affidavit of petitioner No.2 is filed in Court today, which is taken on record.

This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 8, parents and other relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 06.11.2015, Annexure P-5 made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Preeti is 24.12.1995 as per copy of Secondary Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Amit Kumar is 02.01.1993 as per copy of Secondary Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2). They got married on 06.11.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.

CRM-M-38664-2015 -2In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Hisar to look into the representation dated 06.11.2015, Annexure P-5 and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
