Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 116 dated 16.6.2010 under Section 20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Division No. 7, Vardhman Chowki, Ludhiana.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner was granted bail by this Court vide order dated 27.2.2012. Petitioner was regularly appearing before the Trial Court. However, on 12.8.2015, petitioner could not appear before the Trial Court as he had been arrested in another case on 28.7.2015. Petitioner remained in custody in the said case till 19.8.2015. Reliance has been placed on Annexure P-3 in this regard.
Keeping in view the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with a GURPREET SINGH 2015.11.18 15:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
