Petitioners are seeking a direction from this Court to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect their life and liberty as they apprehend danger to their life & liberty at the hands of respondents Nos.4 and 5 i.e. parents of petitioner No.1, who are objecting to the marriage solemnized by the petitioners.

Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 3 only. Mr. V.G. Learned State counsel submits that as per the instructions received by him from the official respondent, statement of Tarsem Pal (father of petitioner No.1) has been recorded, wherein, he has stated that he is a law abiding citizen and will not act in any manner, which will cause any injury to the life and liberty of the petitioners. Learned State counsel further submits that even the statement of Sunil Kumar (father of petitioner No.2) has also been recorded, who expressed that he has no grievance with regard to the marriage solemnized by the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that keeping in view the above-said development, no grievance of the petitioners subsists and she does not want to press this writ petition any further.
