The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 62 dated 20.03.2020 under Sections 452, 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC registered at Police Station Canal Colony, Bathinda and all other consequent proceedings. Notice served upon official respondent No. 1 through the State's counsel. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he would be satisfied in case directions be issued to the respondent to decide the representation dated 08.05.2022 (Annexure P-3) within the time bound manner.

The prayer being innocuous is not opposed by the learned State counsel. Given above, Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda to decide the representation dated 08.05.2022 (Annexure P-3) by passing a speaking order within 15 days from today, if not already decided.

In case, the grievance of the petitioners still exists, they shall be at liberty to avail legal remedy in accordance with law including approaching this Court. Petition is allowed to the extent above. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
