***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL , J . (Oral) The petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.0168, dated 27.07.2017, Police Station City Kharar, SAS Nagar, under Sections 447, 427, 506, 511, 148, 149 IPC.

However, it has been informed by learned State counsel that the matter at the stage is for recording of defence evidence. Having regard to the fact that the trial is virtually at its fag end, this Court does not deem it appropriate to quash the FIR at this belated stage. The petition stands disposed of accordingly. Needless to mention, it shall be open to the petitioner to raise all the pleas, as have been raised herein before the trial Court at the stage of arguments.
