MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) The instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 6.
Learned counsel for the State has placed on record through email a statement of petitioner No.2-Deepak Sharma wherein he has stated that the petitioners no longer apprehend any threat to their life and liberty. Hence, they do not require any protection.
In view of the above, nothing survives in the present petition and the same has been rendered infructuous.
