(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to provide security to the petitioners against the private respondents No.4 to 8 and not to harass the petitioners and their matrimonial life. It has been averred that the date of birth of petitioner No.1 is 01.04.1997 as per copy of Aadhar Card (Annexure P-1). Petitioner No.2 is also major and his date of birth is 16.01.1996 as per the copy of Aadhar Card (Annexure P-2). Petitioner No.2 is an agriculturist by profession and having sufficient means of earning to maintain petitioner No.1.

The petitioners have got married on 09.11.2015 as per Hindu Rites. The marriage certificate and the photographs of the marriage ceremony are appended as Annexures P-3 and P-4, respectively. CRM-M-38755-2015 petitioner No.1 belongs to Majbi Sikh Family and petitioner No.2 belongs to Rai Sikh Family, on account of which the respondents No.4 to 8 are not happy with the marriage. They are apprehensive that the private respondents would interfere in their married life and that their safety, life and liberty is at threat. The petitioners have made representation to respondent No.2 on 09.11.2015 (Annexure P-5) for the protection of their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.4 to 8.

After hearing counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the validity of the marriage and the age of the petitioners and keeping in view the binding precedent of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P. and another 2006(2) SCC (Criminal) 478, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to look into the said issue upon the representation (Annexure P-5) made to respondent No.2 and take necessary action in accordance with law and provide protection, if required.
