(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to provide safeguard to the life and liberty to the petitioners from the private respondents on account of their inter caste love marriage. It has been averred that the date of birth of petitioner No.1 is 23.03.1992. The reference is made to the Aadhar Card (Annexure P-1) which shows her date of birth as 1992. Petitioner No.2 is also major and his date of birth is 05.08.1987 as per the copy of driving license (Annexure P-2). Petitioner No.2 is doing a private job and is earning Rs.9,000/- per month. The petitioners have got married on 10.11.2015 as per Hindu Rites. The marriage certificate and the photographs of the marriage ceremony are appended as Annexures P-3 and P-4, respectively. The petitioners have made representation to respondent No.2 on 09.11.2015 (Annexure P-5) for the protection of their life and liberty.

CRM-M-38759-2015 After hearing counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the validity of the marriage and the age of the petitioners and keeping in view the binding precedent of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P. and another 2006(2) SCC (Criminal) 478, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to look into the said issue upon the representation (Annexure P-5) made to respondent No.2 and take necessary action in accordance with law and provide protection, if required.
