ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to give additional 05 marks to the petitioner under socio-economic criteria as per Clause 2.3 (ii) of the advertisement dated 20.03.2022 (Annexure P-1). Further prayer has been made to accord benefit of the post of Mid-level Health Providers-cumCommunity Health Officers (hereinafter referred to as "MLHP-cumCHO), as envisaged in Clause 2 of the aforesaid advertisement. 2.
The State Health Society (Haryana) invited applications for 787 posts of MLHP-cum-CHO on contract basis under the National Health Mission. Petitioner being eligible applied for the same. Petitioner was earlier registered as Midwife Nurse from Rajasthan Nursing Council vide Nurse Registration No.150459 Part-1A and Midwife Registration No.141354 Part-IIA, valid upto 31.12.2024. Petitioner appeared in the written examination held on 24.04.2022. When the result of provisionally selected candidates was published, name of the petitioner was not there. according to which the petitioner has secured 62 marks but he has wrongly not been given additional 05 marks as per Clause 2.3 (ii) ibid. 3.
Qua his aforesaid grievance, petitioner submitted representation dated 09.05.2022 (Annexure P-9) followed by another representation dated 12.05.2022 (Annexure P-10) but the same have not been adverted till date. Hence the writ petition. 4.
On advance service of copy of the petition, learned State counsel appears and on instructions from Ms. Reena Malik, Law Officer, NHM, Haryana, submits that subject to verification of the requisite documents submitted by the petitioner seeking additional 05 marks under socio-economic criteria, appropriate decision will be taken thereof and in case the petitioner is found eligible, he will be accorded benefit thereof. 5.
Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity toseek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/orpleadings are required.

In the premise, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the instant writ proceedings pending. Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with an expectation that the respondents shall look into the representation dated 12.05.2022 (Annexure P-10) of the petitioner and decide the same within 30 days in accordance with law, as also stated by learned State counsel. 7.
Disposed of.
